Things to Do in Downtown Rogers

Explore Lake Atalanta, located just east of Downtown Rogers, where playgrounds, fishing piers, and more than 10 miles of soft-surface multi-use trails encourage outdoor fun. At The Railyard Bike Park, bikers can get a thrill and try new tricks as they ride the slope-style bicycle course, suited for a range of skill levels. No bike? no worries; rent one from Phat Tire Bike Shop and get to pedaling.

Historic Downtown Rogers is made for exploring. The charming brick-lined streets and quaint mom-and-pop shops offer a welcoming atmosphere, while the art galleries, unique boutiques, and gourmet restaurants give visitors plenty to shop, taste, and discover.

Foodies can explore vendors showcasing farm-fresh produce and handmade treats at the outdoor Rogers Local Food Market, held on Saturdays May through October. For a more hands-on experience, we encourage visitors to sign up for a two to three hour cooking class at Honeycomb Kitchen Shop, where they can learn the basics of seasonal dishes as well as international specialties. Private group classes are also available.

Once the sun goes down, the Victory Theater comes to life with performances presented by the Arkansas Public Theatre. From comedies to dramas to Broadway musicals, there is a show for everyone.

Check out Railyard Park: the park’s main attractions are the Frisco Plaza, which is programmed for events throughout the year, the Butterfield Stage which brings live music, called the Railyard Live Series, to downtown each Friday and Sunday nights for the majority of the year, the Playard which features structures for kids to climb in, on, and over. Part of the Playard highlights three water towers called the Water Stop, which is a splash pad area.

Spend the day in downtown Rogers experiencing all that the Railyard Park has to offer. Other park amenities include:

Places to Eat in Downtown Rogers

After a long day of exploring, you will need to refuel. Thankfully, you are sure to find something to suit every taste with the many restaurants in Rogers.

Located in a former gas station, the City Pump is a casual spot for craft beers, food truck eats, and lawn games on the outdoor patio. For live music and gourmet dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients, head down to Levi’s Gastrolounge & Lowbar, where the menu touts comfort food classics like chicken pot pie, steak burgers and braised short rib sliders. At The Rail – A Pizza Company, the thick-crust pizzas loaded with creative toppings are the main draw, but their mouthwatering hot wings are also fan favorites.

For juicy burgers piled high with crave-worthy toppings (everything from grilled pineapple to cream cheese), take your group to the Parkside Public—just be sure to start with an order of the famous Debris Fries, smothered in corned beef debris gravy and Monterey Jack cheese.
